About the only good picture I’ve managed to take on my Blackberry!

    4 weeks to go!

I leave these cloudy, yet homely shores on the 30th October for sun, sea, sand and blueberry picking.

All I have booked is a week at my Aunty and Uncle’s house in Cessnock, NSW and that is pretty much it!

Once over the jet lag, I’ll be hitting up Sydney - probably stay in a Hostel for a week or so, meet a few fell backpackers and then see what happens.

I think for the first couple of months I’ll be a typical tourist and then after that, I’ll find a proper degree-related job, get a flatshare and see how things pan out Down Under.

For now, I must endure another 3 and half weeks of Southern Water and an increasingly fading tan.
